Breaking a $1B Company's Growth Plateau

A billion-dollar e-commerce accelerator had ambitious growth goals, but marketing and sales operated in separate orbits with no shared go-to-market plan.

I built alignment through account-based marketing, executive thought leadership, and VIP events. The result: $35M+ in marketing-sourced revenue in one year, $10M+ influenced by executive thought leadership, $96M+ in event-generated pipeline, and an increase in marketing’s share of won revenue from 9% to 25%.

Building a Marketing Org From Scratch

An offshore staffing and BPO firm had no marketing function and no reliable inbound pipeline. Its growth strategy relied heavily on a cold-calling program that produced poor-fit opportunities, consumed sales resources, and damaged brand perception.

I built the marketing function from scratch, redefining the brand and ICP, rebuilding the website in under 60 days, implementing a new CRM and lead lifecycle, and launching an executive LinkedIn program. Marketing-sourced pipeline grew 200% quarter over quarter, while lead quality and deal size improved significantly. Together, these efforts generated more than $569K in pipeline.

Creating Alignment Between Sales and Marketing

An e-commerce services agency had strong market awareness, but no coordinated go-to-market campaigns to convert that momentum into pipeline. Following a leadership transition, marketing and sales also lacked clear ownership and alignment.

I stepped in to lead both functions, brought key marketing capabilities in-house, and built demand generation programs across paid media, ABM, and partner marketing. Marketing generated 100% of new-business pipeline and more than $100K in net-new MRR.
